Originally from New York with a degree in scenic design, Neil Goldberg relocated to South Florida after his endeavors on Broadway. From 1982 to 1992 he created, owned and operated Parties by Neil, Entertainment Etc., The Zanadu Dance Company and Creative Cloth Designs. Collectively, his organizations formed one of the country's leading theatrical, special events and entertainment production conglomerates. Neil's illustrious career has included productions for 2 Super Bowls, 2 Miss Universe Pageants, the Walt Disney World Company and thousands of private and corporate events worldwide. He has worked with Dick Clark, Liza Minnelli, Joan Collins, Diana Ross, Elizabeth Taylor, Gloria Estefan, Bob Hope, Mohammad Ali, Christopher Reeve and others on productions for NBC, ABC, CBS, charitable events and projects spanning the globe.
In 1993, Neil created Cirque Productions, the first American company to produce European, theatrical and cirque-style shows for corporate events, theatres and tours. His globally inspired imagination and Broadway expertise most recently awarded him the title of today's leading "theatrical impresario and circus maven" by the L.A. Times. In 1996, after opening Cirque Ingenieux in Bally's Casino Hotel in Atlantic City, NJ, Neil was invited to appear on NBC's Today Show and hailed by the New York Daily News as "uniquely ingenious". Since then he has created and opened over 12 new original productions that continue performing to audiences worldwide ranging from song and dance musicals to theatrical stage spectacles. They include "Imaginique", an outdoor nighttime theme park experience performing at Busch Gardens Williamsburg, VA, "Cirque Branson", a new year-round permanent show that performed at the Remington Theatre in Branson, Missouri. "Christmas Dreams", an original holiday Broadway style musical that performed at the Grand Palace Theatre in Branson, Missouri and other cities to be announced.
Cirque Productions is headquartered in Dream Studios, a state of the art production, rehearsal, training, design and manufacturing complex. Exclusively contracted performers are relocated to develop their skills at Dream Studios under the direction of Neil's team of professional coaches, choreographers, gymnasts, aerialists, writers, inventors and more hoping to be cast into one of the company's many ongoing and future productions.
Neil's world travels continue in order to inspire his imagination and develop new talent by seeking out young dreamers and aspiring artists internationally. Besides the United States, his journeys have created opportunities for performers from The Mongolian School of Contortion, The Acrobatic Training Center of Beijing China, The Sports Acrobatic Association of Poland, The Moscow Circus, The Russian State College for Variety Arts and more.
Neil Goldberg and Cirque Productions are proud supporters of NFAA, The National Foundation for Advancement in the Arts who supports emerging artists in their educational and professional development.
