CIRQUE DREAMS COSTUME CONTEST Swept the Nation

For the 2007-2008 Touring season our Cirque Dreams Costume Contest was a huge success drawing interest nationwide.  Many cities featured the contest in their media and press.  Below is a sampling of a media review and several contest submissions and the finished costume that was featured in their home city.

Take it from the page to the stage.  Here's your chance to become a costume desinger.  The Fort Lauderdale based Cirque Dreams musical theater production company has put out a "cattle call" for people of all ages to submit sketches for the latest touring produciton set in an enchanted forest, when playing in a city near you.

Cirque Dreams Jungle Fantasy uses ex-Olympians, aerialists, contortionists, dancers, musicians and more to entertain crowds in more than 90 cities across America during the circus-like show.  It will play the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts in West Palm Bech on Jan. 8-13.

If chosen, the costume design team from Cirque Dreams will interpret and manufacture the costume to premier on stage Jan. 8.  The grand-prize winner also receives a $500 Bloomingdale's gift certificate and four tickets for opening night.
